A South Carolina man is dead after he was hit by a car while walking on a Columbia road, according to a statement from the Richland County Coroner’s office. Roderick D’Wayne Anderson, 23, of Winnsboro, was hit near the 9400 block of Monticello Road, according to the statement. He would have been 24 on Monday.
