A 2017 Nissan SUV was driving south on I-95 and ran off the right side of the road where it hit and killed the pedestrian, Bolt said. The Orangeburg County Coroner’s Office has not publicly identified the pedestrian. Bolt said the driver was the only person in the SUV and was not hurt.
