Joshua Valentine, 23, killed after his motorcycle collided with a tractor-trailer at the intersection of Fort Jackson Road and Hunt Road in Lugoff, South Carolina

The accident occurred around 9:43 a.m., according to a release from Cpl. Tyler Tidwell with the state Department of Public Safety. The tractor-trailer was traveling west on Fort Jackson Road and was turning right onto Hunt Road when Valentine, also traveling west on Fort Jackson Road on his 2020 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, collided with the rear right side of the trailer.
