The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
One man was killed after a crash between a motorcycle and a truck Saturday afternoon at 12:25 p.m in West Columbia on Starmount Drive near Charleston Highway. Bryan E. Nichuck, 28, was driving a motorcycle in the westbound lane when he crashed into a truck. Nichuck was transported to Lexington Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
