Trooper Gary Miller reports the driver of a 2007 Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling south on US 221 near Harris Bridge Rd. when they lost control, hit a utility pole and overturned.

Thompson-Wilkie was traveling on Kilgore Bridge Road when his vehicle left the roadway and crashed, according to the coroner’s office. He was taken to the hospital around 4:02 a.m.
