The coroner has identified that passenger as Amber Burke, 27. According to the coroner, she died from blunt-force trauma.

As we previously reported, two vehicles were travelling east on I-26 near the 59 mile marker at approximately 8:57pm when they made contact with each other. One vehicle, a Subaru sedan, went off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
