At least 3 people are dead after a crash on Interstate 85, according to the Greenville County coroner.

According to the coroner's office, the crash occurred on I-85 Southbound near mile marker 51. Officials said three people were killed in the crash.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the four-vehicle crash happened just after 5:15 a.m. Sunday on I-85 between mile markers 52 and 53 when a vehicle headed north in the southbound lanes collided with another vehicle.

The GCCO has identified the two women as Sharae Deneen Green, 45, and Storm Mikayla Shepard, 27. The GCCO was also able to identify the man as Jimmie McKenley Wallace, 69.
