Pedestrian struck by vehicle while refueling truck in Greenwood County, coroner says
Once authorities arrived on scene, they learned that the pedestrian, the driver of a pickup truck, ran out of gas and was trying to refuel his truck, according to the coroner. The coroner says while the pedestrian was refueling, he was struck by an oncoming vehicle headed southwest on Hwy. 221.

The Greenwood County Coroner's Office said the incident happened at around 4:40 p.m. on Highway 221 near White Hall Road. The coroner's office said the driver of of a pickup truck had run out of gas and was attempting to put gas into the truck when he was struck by a vehicle on the highway.
