The Greenville County Coroner's Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that happened Sunday night. Troopers said it happened on U.S. Highway 25 near Scott Lane about 6:30 p.m.
Coroner identifies man killed in Greenville County crash
The vehicle traveling South crossed left of center and collided with the vehicle traveling North, troopers said. The coroner identified the driver as John Michael Phillips, 55, of Honea Path.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the two-vehicle crash occurred before 7 p.m. on US 25 near Scott Lane. Troopers said a Nissan was traveling south when it crossed the center line and collided with a Chevrolet traveling north.
