According to the coroner, Greenville County EMS and the South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to I-185 Northbound near the intersection of Henrydale Avenue Wednesday morning, about a vehicle versus pedestrian. The coroner has identified the pedestrian as Paul Thomason Jr., 58, of Greenville.

The Greenville County Coroner's Office said Paul Thomason Jr., 58, of West Washington Street, died at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital from injuries he sustained when he was hit by a car.
