Moped driver died when thrown off moped during crash, coroner says
The moped and a 2001 Chevrolet Impala were both driving north on Highway 25 near Maddox Bridge Road around 10:30 p.m., South Carolina State Highway Patrol said.

Coroner Nick Nichols identified the victim as 44-year-old Timothy Lee Wood. Wood died at the scene just after 10:30 p.m.
