Coroner called to deadly crash in Pickens County, South Carolina
According to Lance Corporal Tyler Tidwell with the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash happened on Adams Road near Kilt Lane, approximately 2.5 miles west of Pickens County.
Driver dies in single-car crash in Pickens Co.
The crash happened just before 4 p.m. on Adams Road near Kilt Lane just west of Pickens.
South Carolina Highway Patrol said a car ran off the left side of the road, hit a fence, then hit a tree.

The Pickens County Coroner Office has identified the driver as 52-year-old Tony Dale Searcy.
According to the coroner, Searcy was not wearing a seatbelt during the time of the crash.
