Dump truck towing crane overturns at intersection in Greenville County. No injuries reported.

Traffic had to be diverted around an accident that blocked a section of Poinsett Highway in Greenville County Friday.

The accident happened at approximately noon at the intersection of Poinsett Highway and Roe Ford Road.

It blocked the northbound lanes of Poinsett Highway.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the driver was operating a dump truck while pulling a trailer with a boom-type crane on it.

Police said as the driver attempted to make a left turn onto Roe Ford Road, the trailer and crane flipped over on its side.

All of the equipment is registered to Greenville County.

Troopers said the driver was found to be contributing but no charges were filed.
