Coroner identifies victim of fatal one-vehicle crash in Marion County
The passenger of the vehicle was thrown from the car, and sustained fatal injuries from the collision, according to Wimberly. Officials say the victim was not wearing a seat-belt.
One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Marion County. Bobby Johnson Jr., 50, of Marion, died in the accident which occurred on May 2 on Chippenham Road around 8:35 p.m. when a Chevrolet Cavalier was heading south on Chippenham Road. It exited the side of the roadway, hit a ditch, then collided with several trees and overturned.
