SCHP: Passenger killed after tractor trailer and SUV collide in Florence County

The Florence County Coroner said they would release the identity of the deceased at a later time. FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A passenger in an SUV died after a tractor-trailer collided with it while it was making a u-turn on Freedom Boulevard in Florence County Thursday morning, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. Buelah Road when a tractor-trailer struck the vehicle on the passenger side, according to Corporal Sonny Collins with SCHP.  The passenger in the SUV died as a result of the collision. At about 11:20 a.m., a Ford SUV driven by a 74-year-old woman was making a u-turn on Freedom Blvd. near St. The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured, Cpl.

The passenger in the SUV was killed in the crash, confirms Cpl. Collins. Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken identifies the victim as Lillie Mae Miller, 77, of Timmonsville.
