The South Carolina Highway Patrol says one person died and three others were hospitalized following a Tuesday night crash in the Longs area.

At about 10:18 July 4, a vehicle with five people left the roadway, hit a ditch, then a brick wall and overturned, according to Lance Cpl. Lena Butler with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
