Father, son struck and killed by vehicle after pulling another vehicle from Marlboro County ditch
Brown said the son ran off the road into a ditch and later called his father to come assist with getting it out. The father arrived and helped pull the vehicle out of the ditch. As they were standing behind the vehicle, a passing car struck them near the side of the road, Brown said.
