Driver dies in Thursday morning Coward crash
The victim was north bound on Hicks Road about 1:45 a.m. when they lost control of the car and ran first off the right side of the road, then the left side of the road and finally off the right side of the road and into the ditch before the car hit a culvert and overturned, said Lance Cpl. Judd Jones, South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken identifies the driver as Steven Michael Rouse, 27, of Coward. The victim was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected during the crash, troopers report.
