Coroner identifies Florence man struck and killed by intoxicated driver
On Wednesday, Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken identified the victim as 65-year-old Richard Earl Dowdy of Pamlico. The victim died on scene as a result of his injuries, Lutcken said.
