A tweet from the Horry County Police Department stated one northbound lane of U.S. 501 is open, while southbound traffic is being diverted down Pee Dee Highway until further notice.

Ryan Dailey, 32, of Gallivants Ferry, died as a result of the crash, according to Deputy Horry County Coroner Darris Fowler.
