Banner plane lands in ocean on Myrtle Beach
Police said around 11:35 a.m., first responders from the Myrtle Beach Police Department and the Myrtle Beach Fire Department were called to the beach in the area of 40th Avenue North about the plane in the water. The pilot was the only person in the plane, and he was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
