One pedestrian died after car crash near North Myrtle Beach, officials say
The driver of a Honda Civic was traveling west on Highway 90 near Water Tower Road when they hit the pedestrian, who was traveling east around 4:45 a.m. according to South Carolina Highway Patrol Corporal Tyler Tidwell.

Horry County Deputy Coroner Patty Bellamy later identified the pedestrian as 32-year-old Amber Lawson, of Carolina Shores, North Carolina.
