Timmonsville man dies in head-on collision
McFadden was traveling east on South Lynches River Road in a 2006 Dodge Ram truck when a 2007 GMC Sierra traveling west crossed the center line and hit McFadden's truck head-on.
A Timmonsville man was killed in an automobile collision Monday afternoon. Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken has identified the victim as Andre Tremayne McFadden, 30, of Timmonsville. McFadden was traveling east on South Lynches River Road in a 2006 Dodge Ram truck when a 2007 GMC Sierra traveling west crossed the center line and hit McFadden's truck head-on, according to Senior Trooper Hannah Wimberly with the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The driver and passenger of the Sierra were transported to McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence to be treated for injuries sustained in the crash. McFadden was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is under investigation by the SCHP.
