A 52-year-old Beaufort man died from his injuries Saturday after his motorcycle collided with a car on S.C. 170 in Beaufort County, according to the Beaufort County Coroner’s Office and S.C. Highway Patrol. Robert Patterson was traveling east on S.C. 170 on his 1989 Harley Davidson motorcycle around 2:20 a.m., when he struck a westbound 2000 Honda Accord attempting to make a left turn, Deputy Coroner David Ott and a patrolman said.
