The Mellette County Sheriff’s Office says the vehicles collided around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highways 44 and 63 west of Cedar Butte. Three women in a pickup from Wisconsin were headed west on Highway 44 when their truck crashed with a vehicle carrying seven people heading north on Highway 63.
