Authorities identify Redfield man killed in crash near town

REDFIELD, S.D. (AP) — The Highway Patrol has identified a Redfield man who died in a two-vehicle crash east of the city. Authorities say 26-year-old Timothy Schreier failed to stop at a stop sign at an intersection on U.S. Highway 212 late Wednesday morning, and his car was struck by a pickup truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup suffered only minor injuries.
