Bowling Green teen killed, family members injured in Tennessee crash

The accident occurred when a Ford SUV driven by Hector David Morfin of Bowling Green entered the emergency lane of Interstate 40 near exit 79, veered left, crossed the eastbound lanes and overturned, according to report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol in Jackson. Izhar Morfin, 17, who was not wearing a seat belt, was killed in the crash. He was a junior at Bowling Green High School, where Superintendent Gary Fields was talking to staff and others Monday morning.
