1 dead after crash near Memphis Zoo
Police say no one else was injured on the scene. Officers asked driver to avoid the area while they investigated the crash.
The fatal crash occurred at the intersection of North Parkway and Evergreen Street Sunday night. One person was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Witnesses saw a man traveling westbound on North Parkway when he hit a Volvo, went over the median, and crashed. Check back for more information as it becomes available.
