The Tennessee Highway Patrol says one person was killed in a crash on U.S. Highway 31 just after 4 p.m. Monday.

According to the THP report, 88-year-old Alice Fisher drove across the dividing line near Thompson Station Road, hitting 62-year-old Joe Martin who was traveling south.
Martin's Ford Ranger went into a ditch along the southbound lane. He was killed in the crash.
According to the report, Martin was not wearing a seat belt, but officials do not believe that would have made a difference.
Fisher was injured in the crash.
No traffic citations or criminal charges have been issued at this time.
A deputy who was on his way to the scene of the fatal crash collided with another vehicle near Highway 31 and Critz Lane. Neither the deputy nor the driver of the other vehicle was hurt, according to the Williamson County Sheriff's Office.
