Nashville man, 67, killed in Sunday Briley Pkwy crash
White, of Hummingbird Drive, was driving a 1997 Mazda Miata south on Briley Parkway, near Centennial Boulevard, at 6:15 p.m. Sunday when the car traveled off the roadway while negotiating a curve and struck the center retaining wall.
Metro police say the impact sent the Mazda into a grassy area and across the travel lanes of Briley Parkway where it then struck a cable barrier.
