The man reportedly exited Interstate 40 onto Old Hickory Boulevard at exit 221B and rear-ended a car around 11:30 p.m. Police said he continued to drive and then crashed his red Ford Explorer into a utility pole at Old Hickory Boulevard and Bell Road.
