Tiffany Sumners, 5 year old girl, killed, 6 year old injured, after car leaves roadway and crashes into tree.
Two people were killed, including a 5-year-old girl, in a car crash Saturday afternoon in Giles County.
Tennessee Highway Patrol officials say it happened on Crescent View Drive in Pulaski just before 2 p.m.
Officials say a car driven by 33-year-old Tiffany Sumners veered off the road before Sumners over-corrected. The car then traveled across the roadway before hitting a tree and bursting into flames.
Sumners and a 5-year-old female passenger were killed.
A six-year-old girl was also riding in the car. She sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials believe both children were riding in the backseat of the car.
Their relationship to Sumners is unclear at this time.
