Police identify man killed in Austin crash
Around 5 a.m. Saturday, Mohamed Mahdi Lambari, 26, was driving in the 7000 block of East U.S. Highway 290 when he veered left, stuck a light pole in the grass median and crossed into oncoming traffic, a statement said. His Nissan then struck a guardrail and another light pole when his vehicle came to a stop, officials said.
Lambari collided with multiple objects before his car came to a stop. He was found dead at the scene of the crash.
