On Friday night, Austin-Travis County EMS reported that a pedestrian who was in a wheelchair was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash at the 200 block of East Ben White Boulevard in south Austin.

Theodore Tjomsland, 56, was crossing the frontage road when the driver of a 1993 black Honda Civic, traveling eastbound, hit him in the road.
