ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — A woman died Sunday morning after the vehicle she was traveling in stalled on a North Texas interstate after crashing into a barrier and was hit by a Greyhound bus. Cook said that just minutes before the bus hit the vehicle, authorities had gotten a call that a vehicle being driven erratically had hit a barrier and become disabled. Several people on the bus were injured, authorities said. Greyhound spokeswoman Lanesha Gipson says there were 40 passengers and a driver aboard the bus, which was headed from Dallas to Amarillo. Arlington officers responded to a single-car crash involving the SUV at 5:27 a.m. Sunday on I-30 beneath the Collins Street bridge. A 911 caller reported that the SUV was traveling westbound and “exhibiting erratic driving behavior and swerving,” police said.

It was unclear whether the man or woman was driving. The woman was identified Monday as 28-year-old Torie Davis, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
