One person killed in multi-car crash on Interstate 20 in Dallas.

At least one person was confirmed dead Tuesday afternoon after a multiple-car accident on Interstate 20 in Southwest Dallas.

Initial reports indicate that three cars were involved in the pileup in the westbound lanes just east of the Bonnie View Road exit.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.

Westbound rush hour traffic was restricted to just one lane, leading to a lengthy delay for motorists. There were also delays from onlookers in the eastbound lanes of the freeway.
