When he crossed the railroad tracks – two moving trains collided with his vehicle – dragging his truck a short distance.
Man injured after crashing with two trains in West Dallas
Police say an alleged drunk driver drove around the crossing arms of a train track and ran into a parked westbound train. A train heading the opposite way then slammed into the truck, wedging it between the two trains.
Officers say the driver of the truck was trapped for about an hour and had to be extricated. His condition is unknown at this time, but rescuers suspect he has internal injuries.
An unidentified man somehow survived a crash when his pickup was crushed between two moving trains in Dallas. Police suspect that alcohol was involved.
