Friends gather to remember teen killed in Saginaw crash
"Out of all of our friends, he probably had the brightest future out of all of us,” said Pearce Giles, one of Ireland's friends. “Like, he knew where he wanted to go and what he wanted to do and he was excited to get out and go.”
Four teens were in the four-door sedan when it struck a utility pole with so much force that the car split in in half in the 900 block of East McLeroy Boulevard Sunday night. Vincent Ireland, 17, died at the scene, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office. One other teen was injured; the other two were unhurt.
