Investigators charged Robert Anthony Pena, 20, of Mission with intoxication manslaughter, a second-degree felony, after the Monday night crash.

McAllen Police spokesman Lt. Joel Morales said Herman Alejandro Hernandez died of undisclosed injuries he suffered after a 20-year-old man crashed his vehicle into Hernandez and a female teenager who has not been identified.
