A police source told Local 2 a body found at Tony Marron Park on Nov. 11 is that of Cole's. Officers have not released the cause of death.

Suspect in hit and run death found in Buffalo Bayou

Zachary Devane, 22, was killed in that incident, where police said the driver of a black Toyota Camry struck him, then fled. Devane was working for a survey company when he was struck about 2:35 p.m. Nov. 6 in the 400 block of Jensen, south of the Eastex Freeway.

We've blurred his face because police refuse to confirm any charges, arrests, or whether the man is a suspect, citing an ongoing investigation. In the video, you can see him talking on the phone as paramedics treat Devane. The eyewitness says the man's behavior was disturbing.

A land surveyor was standing on a sidewalk when he was hit by a Toyota Camry. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died of his injuries. The driver that hit him, identified as Donald Cole, got out of the car and fled on foot. In a bizarre twist, the body of Donald Cole was found in Buffalo Bayou on November 11. Police are currently unsure about the cause of death. The two incidents are currently under investigation.
