On Tuesday night at around 9:45, a man walked onto the service road of the 5700 block of the East Freeway eastbound, and he was struck by a white car. According to Houston police, the driver stopped immediately and stayed on the scene with the man while waiting for officers to arrive. We'll update this story as more informationg becomes available.
