One person was killed and nine others, including two children, were taken to the hospital after a drunk driver in a Mitsubishi crashed into a pickup truck Saturday evening around 9:30 p.m. at Gears Road and Crown Park in Houston. The Mitsubishi was heading west on Gears Road when it swerved into the eastbound lane and crashed into a Ford pickup head-on. The frontseat passenger in the Mitsubishi was pronounced deceased at the crash site, and the driver and rear passenger were transported to the hospital in serious condition. All seven people inside the pickup truck were taken to local hospitals.
