Two juveniles were hit by a car near a high school in Katy, according to Harris County deputies.

Two juveniles were hit by a car near a high school in Katy, according to Harris County deputies.

The accident happened on Raintree Village and Morton near Morton Ranch High School. The West I-10 Volunteer Fire Department says a 12-year-old and a 13-year-old were hit by a vehicle and transported to the hospital.

We're told one of the juveniles hit the windshield, while the other was just grazed by the vehicle.

Both victims appeared conscious and alert, fire officials say, but there is no word on the victims' conditions.

It's unclear if the driver stayed at the scene.
