Pearland PD: Jogger wearing headphones dies after being struck by boat trailer
The Pearland Police Department says the female victim, 31-year-old Elizabeth Perez, was running with headphones on at the intersection of Broadway and Southern Trails Drive. Witnesses say she stepped into the roadway after a truck passed by, but she was struck and critically injured by the trailer the truck was towing.
