One Airlifted after Head-On Collision on US-67
The major motor vehicle accident was a head on collision involving a red Toyota Tundra and a silver four-door passenger car.
DPS Trooper Cameron Peterson said in a statement that at this time the crash is still under investigation. However, Trooper Peterson did confirm that a driver of one of the vehicles was airlifted via Airmed1 to Shannon Medical Center.
Trooper Peterson further confirmed that he knew of three passengers involved in the accident, but did not know if they had sustained incapacitating injuries.
