According to the head of the San Angelo Police Department's Traffic Division Cade Solsbery, the young man was standing in the vicinity of the intersection of 1st and Koenigheim when a man driving a Chevrolet Malibu, headed east to west, attempted to cross the major north-south thoroughfare in San Angelo.
