Pedestrian dies after being struck twice on U.S. 281

A pedestrian was struck and killed at U.S. 281 and Mogford Road shortly after 9 p.m. Friday. Bexar County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene. The driver of the vehicle was headed southbound on U.S. 281 near county line when a man darted out in front of his car deputies said. The driver did not see him, and struck him. The driver then stopped to render him aid, as did other witnesses, deputies said.

While the driver and witnesses were attempting to render aid to the victim, another car hit him.
The man was pronounced dead on the scene.
