Man cited for DUI after canyon crash
Sgt. Cade Brenchley said the roads were slushy when Mark A. Dumas, who is from the Salt Lake area, lost control of his vehicle as he passed through Big Curve in the northbound lanes.
The 2005 Chevrolet Malibu ran off the right side of the road and rolled, coming to rest on its top in a stream.
“He reeked of alcohol and had an open container of vodka in the car,” Brenchley said. A breathalizer test on scene indicated his alcohol level was more than three times the legal limit.

After a serious crash, several steps need to be taken, including dealing with the insurance companies, tracking and documenting lost income from missed work, coordinating medical bill payments, and handling an insurance claim.
