Draper police withheld the identities of the two, pending notification of their families. Both the female victim and the male driver were in their 40s, and neither was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash on Traverse Ridge Road near 1700 East, police said.

The motorcycle appeared to have gone out of control as it descended a hill. Hardman died at the scene; Milne was taken to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
