Troopers said the male driver of a Ford F-150 pickup was traveling south on U.S. 89 when he tried to pass a Kenworth semitruck in front of him; however, the driver didn’t have enough space to complete the pass and collided head-on with a Ford Edge traveling in the opposite direction. Both vehicles ended up in the path of the semitruck, which collided with them before going off the road.
